The lifting of a inert  body is a puppet. Accordingly, True Rouge starts the hoisted works group. These works brings a repertoire of connective separating elements and at the same time connects the body of the marionette to the body of the puppeteer. Are cables, rods, hooks, chains and cups. The difference of a body puppet and a counter weight lifted is the illusion that the puppet holds the body itself, making the connective sometimes invisible.

São João Batista (St. John the Baptist) 1977-80

A line may imply temporality, suggesting a journey from A to B. Our glance or our gesture may walk from one point to another even if A is equal to B. At the end of this journey we may say that we have perceived the line within a temporal duration.

A piece of rubber sheet is crumpled from its center, tied as a cylinder and cut crosswise. The result: a round stretched cut-out and a tied remainder. In the center of this cut-out, infrared or ultraviolet lamps, and hoods or reflective parabolic antennas narrate the limit of the vision or the ways of acknowledging the invisible. São João Batista (St. John the Baptist) shows, in the tied remainder, a timeless line where the shape of the rubber or felt has generated a stamp of identical outline, which is inked with iodine or red paint and printed on the wall.
